BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
The scientific study of emotions, behaviors, and biology as they relate to a person's mental health, daily functioning, and sense of self is known as behavioral health. The phrase "mental health" will often be referred to as " behavioral health."
Treatment includes, but not limited to: Bipolar Disorder, stress, sadness, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, addiction, ADHD, and/or Schizophrenia.

Crystal Stone, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, CPMA, CPC, CPB
Crystal Stone is a force for change in healthcare where clinical expertise meets fierce advocacy. A licensed, double board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Crystal is also a Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Certified Professional Biller (CPB) and Certified Professional Coder (CPC) a rare combination that ensures patients not only receive the best care but also fight fewer battles with insurance.
As the founder of New Leaf Primary Care and New Leaf Behavioral Health, Crystal delivers whole-person care by integrating primary and mental health services for individuals and families across Southern Illinois. She provides care through in-person office visits, telemedicine, and because quality care doesn’t stop at the clinic door, she also sees residents in skilled nursing facilities, ensuring continuity and dignity in every setting.
A veteran and deeply committed healthcare professional with over 10 years of experience, Crystal offers a rare combination of expertise, dedication, integrity, accessibility, and heart to every patient interaction. Whether she’s diagnosing, prescribing, coding, simplifying the billing chaos, or just listening, her goal remains the same: helping patients thrive mind, body, and spirit turning over a new leaf one visit at a time.
